I have a sort of quiet obsession with peering into other people’s kitchens – it often exposes a lot about the person’s character. Undoubtedly, both of your kitchens speak highly of your creative sense, love of cooking, warmth, and flair for the traditional (yes, I did catch that TV in your Italian kitchen).

Hah! It looks like a TV, but it is actually an old microwave, left by the previous owner. I don't use it often, but it still works!

Oh…my bad - I thought you completely embraced the Italian lifestyle by having a TV in the kitchen…

100 percent! My Italian aunts had a tiny kitchen in Rome and made wonderful, simple food.

Thank you, Betty. They're from California. I wish I could remember the maker. I do remember that the color was "pesto," which makes perfect sense lol!
